I love questions about sunscreen because I did one of the FDA studies along with Dr. Regal looking at high SPF sunscreen. And really, my advice for the best sunscreen is something that is a well known name brand because those companies, those products go through much more rigorous testing. And then I also encourage my patients to use the highest SPF possible, because in that study, what we found is you were ten times more likely to get a sunburn on an SPF split face study on the SPF 50 side than you were with SPF 100.
