What leads to burnout, and what can we do to help deal with it?

You. So burnout is a complicated issue. But in my mind, the main reason we burn out is because we're doing things that don't relate to patient care. We're doing all the nonsense work, the paperwork, the mindless work that basically keeps us from doing what we were trained to do, and that's what burns us out. And so the best way to deal with that is to have the academy have your back to try and work on all these administrative burdens, to remove them from our plate. And then again, go to camp discovery. If you go to camp discovery, I guarantee you'll remember why it is you did this in the first place. And that's the best cure for burnout, is to really remember why we became physicians in the first place. And.
